We’ve got the scoop on some of the best festivals, concerts and brunches this Mother’s Day weekend that are guaranteed to be fun, tasty and keep your mind off work.

This weekend experience artisans, crafters, street performers and musical entertainment. Sunsets at Pier 60 are totally free! They even have free movies! Friday movie – “The Pirate Fairy” – G rated and on Saturday night see “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows” – PG rated. Time: 6 – 10 p.m.

9. Attend the Mayor’s Mac & Cheese Throwdown

Saturday from 4 – 10 p.m. join Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn’s for the Mac & Cheese Throwdown. Attendees will taste and vote on who makes the best mac & cheese in Tampa. Admission but the food tastings cost a fee. There will be live music, craft beer and wine vendors, plus games & activities for all ages.

8. Save Money at Mom’s Get Into the Zoo Free Weekend

On Saturday, May 10 and Sunday, May 11, moms receive free admission with the purchase of a child’s full-priced admission ticket. Admission for Children 3-11 is $19.95, children 2 and under are free.
